The two spirits, by Tom Mukasa

The Two Spirits

An older experienced spirit,
Never tires of cautioning,
And it is no secret.

A bolder acolyte spirit,
Curious and insatiable,
restlessly looking for an outlet.

An older experienced spirit,
Torch bearer and lighter of fires,
the same spirit dowser of flames.

A bolder acolyte spirit,
The very tinder  that burns,
the cinder, a mark of resilience.

A fire burns brightly,
A light that chases the shadows away,
My two spirits formed both in ember and fire.
