Behold, flake-swarm!

Flakes cotton-like
Swiftly descending
devious purpose unrevealed
vegetation below unsuspecting.

Slanted scythes,
Swift lunges,
White locusts,
common destination.

One by one,
Eventual snow blanket,
Green, brown, gray,
covered in cold whiteness.
