When safe un-sits right,
When right un-sits safe,
When it is safer than right,
When it is right but not safe,
When it is safe but not right,
When it is the safe thing to do,
Humility and firmness,
Forging on with subservience,
Unconditional positive regard,
Sense of involvement.

Taita Falcon above the Zambezi A taita falcon, driven by hunger, or the scenic beauty, from its hidden perch, spreads its expansive wings, it scans the numerous landmarks, the smoking thundering waterfalls, in their fives, in their tens, whose puffs turn from snow white, to rainbow and leafy green, an awesomeness, distracts it from prey-hunting, she cannot keep this to herself, weighed down with heaviness, the herald had to be shared, down to our meeting she came, but being cantankerous and  haughty, much like an attention seeking turkey, many a fragile limbs and tails, were stepped on, in telling this intelligent story of awe, pride and vanity masked, the beautiful scenic narratives, that were it not for toe-stepping, our reactions would not be biased, negatively and ire-filled, for the tale of the waterfalls, in their fives, in their tens, thick puffs of smoke, with thunderous rebounds, is one we loved to listen to,...

Private muses I come from Africa; a part squeezed-in by the grips of nature, the mountains of the Moon and Masaba, the source of the Nile, the equator is a tight belt, the sun a hot overhead furnace, evening time is T.V. time, the source of information, from news, films and dramas, our eye on the world, except for critical history and geography lessons, I remained content with generalizations, the world was divided into spheres, very much after the compass, north, south, east, west, we knew where good cars came from, where poor house-hold appliances were made, we could list names of world leaders, point out cities, that about summed it all, until I came face to face, with an Irish, a German, Chinese and Samoan in America, I realized I knew little, very little, the knowledge-closets were quickly emptied, not even Holly-wood films filled the gaps, and so a tete-a-tete goes like this; yes, Sumo-wrestlers also come from Hawaii, yes,...
